Join the FWISD Council of PTAs, FW SPARC, the America Heart Association and State Representative Nicole Collier for dinner and a discussion regarding E-cigarette usage among youth.

Nationally acclaimed medical toxologist Dr. Peter Stout of the Houston Forensic Laboratory will present information on:

  • Detection of discreet E-cigarette devices
  • How to detect E-cigarette usage
  • How to discuss it with youth
  • Dangers of E-cigarettes in youth including nicotine addiction and withdrawal

At the end of the discussion, we will produce a plan of action, which will protect our youth.

Tickets Available for 2020 Founder’s Day Luncheon

The Fort Worth ISD Council of PTAs will hold its annual Founders Day luncheon Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 11:30 am – 1 pm at the Lena Pope Amon Carter Center to celebrate more than 100 years of dedication to the educational success of children and the promotion of family engagement in schools.

Mayor Betsy Price will be our keynote speaker and we will hear remarks from Superintendent Kent Scribner as well.
